Bailey Davis was another contestant in the Miss Arkansas Rice contest. I am not a huge fan of curry, but Bailey won me over with this recipe. It had the perfect amount of bite and the green apple was a surprising, but fantastic addition. Don’t miss out on this recipe for Bailey’s Farmers Market Soup.
There are days that I choose the drive through over the stovetop, but this recipe for Spinach and Feta Stuffed Chicken is worth trying.
Twice-Baked Sweet Potatoes and Rustic Sourdough sounds like the characters of a perfect fall meal to me, but I don’t know if I can live without that ice cream machine. I might be eating ice cream well into freezing temperatures.
My parents have a farm and I know my mom is the glue that holds everything together. Hearing from the perspective of the farmer’s wife is always interesting to me. Here’s another amazing recipe from the Miss Arkansas Rice competition. This Gumbo was hearty, flavorful and perfect for the fall weather. Bailey Dillinger of Palestine was first runner-up and this girl can make some amazing gumbo.
I am getting so excited for Fall! I cannot wait to pull on my boots, zip up my jacket and whip up some Sloppy Joes. I hope these pins for Pumpkin Nut Muffins, Sloppy Joes and Vanilla Cream-Filled Doughnuts inspire you like they have me.

Jason sat down to answer a few questions about how he is involved with getting food from the farm to your table.
I love peanut butter pie. It is so light, fluffy and refreshing. There is something about peanut butter that makes me happy. Maybe its because it reminds me of the carefree nature of childhood.
