So, who won?

First of all, I was absolutely blown away by the response to our contest celebrating one year of Taste Arkansas. So many of you liked, commented and shared far beyond my expectations. You followed the rules and read the posts. You all are wonderful. I wish I could give all of you a prize!

I really want to thank Petit Jean Meats for going above and beyond. PJM was a fabulous partner for this giveaway, and I know that everyone loves PJM products just as much as me. (I had to buy more bacon yesterday, because I can’t stop eating it.) I also want to thank Arkansas Farm Bureau for its efforts in creating this blog and giving me the opportunity to share the recipes I’m cooking. Finally, a huge thank you to P. Allen Smith and the Arkansas Soybean Promotion Board for inviting me to Bean2Blog, where I was lucky enough to get a copy of P. Allen’s “Veggies & Herbs.”

Finally, it’s time to announce the winner. I used random.org to generate the number. I input the number of comments on the post as of 10 pm and came up with comment number 103. That is Kay Brockwell. Congratulations Kay! Please e-mail me at my personal e-mail, tljohnson12@gmail.com, by this Friday at 5 pm to claim your prize. Thank you all for participating!

I hope to have more giveaways like this in the future. If you have a giveaway idea or feedback on how this giveaway could’ve been better, please feel free to comment or e-mail me at the address above.
