Kitchen Tip Tuesday – Leave the Lid on When Cooking Rice

We’ve all done it even though we know we shouldn’t. When cooking rice, it’s important not to take the lid off the sauce pan. But how do you check that the cooking process is going well without removing the lid and taking a peek? Just use a sauce pan with a glass lid, and it’s easy to see how the rice is doing. It’s that simple.
